Cam earned a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Microbiology from the University of British Columbia before beginning his career in the biotechnology industry. He later obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta and returned to British Columbia to pursue a career in law.
After law school, Cam completed his articles at a respected Chilliwack law firm and went on to practice alongside experienced litigators in Golden, BC. This background gave him valuable hands-on advocacy experience across a wide range of disputes, including negotiated settlements, contested applications, and court proceedings.
